The bug still affects Eclipse 3.4.1 in 10/08. Feel free to vote for the bug, the fix is easy, and I submitted a test case.

Basically, the problem is that under Mac OS X, making a file readonly with Eclipse causes the uchg file flag to be set on the file, which means that rm -f does not work on the command line and importing features from a previously checked out svn repository sometimes fails. You should follow up on the users@subclipse.tigris.org mailing list.

You could also open preferences to Team -> SVN and change the client interface to SVNKit. You might need to make Eclipse not able to find the JavaHL library on startup to do this. Such as renaming/moving the library.Mark Phippardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16905022252385982106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2852931951046210811.post-81206015493412228142007-02-20T18:06:00.000-05:002007-02-20T18:06:00.000-05:00I updated my subversion to 1.4.3 and now my eclips...I updated my subversion to 1.4.3 and now my eclipse 3.2.2 crashes everytime I try to use my newly updated Subclipse 1.2.0. SubClipse/SVN will not be able to update this project. You will get an error:

svn: Cannot rename file

every time you try invoke svn. If you issue:

chflags -R nouchg .

at the top-level of the project directory this will clear these flags and restore SVN function.

It would be good if this could go into some release notes since SubClipse and Ecplise both released important versions this past week.

ThanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2852931951046210811.post-89487067141585392382007-02-14T16:11:00.000-05:002007-02-14T16:11:00.000-05:00Thanks, it should be fixed now. Thanks, it should be fixed now.Mark Phippardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16905022252385982106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2852931951046210811.post-76543068812122862902007-02-14T15:27:00.000-05:002007-02-14T15:27:00.000-05:00Hi Mark, there is an error in the update site in th...Hi Mark,
there is an error in the update site in the entry for the mylar-feature.
